2013 Melbourne 29 d bedroom slide

Bedroom slide wouldn't deploy, I could manually push it out to get under the bed to get to the motor and track mechanism. Found out that the roll pin came out of the gear on the shaft, the motor spins the shaft but not the gear. The roll pin was still in the gear, I tried to pound back into the shaft actually damaging the roll pin. It broke off when I tried to pull it out. I bought a roll pin punch and could try to knock out the rest of the roll pin and replace with a new pin.
The question is:
Is there a slide out "limit switch" or "brake" that knows when to stop the slide is in motion and reaches the full extended "out" position or full retracted "in" position? How do I adjust to work properly since I manually pushed the slide out in the beginning? We're at a campground until the end of the month 4/30
Hope to have suggestions before we need to leave. Thank you in advance

It stops based on resistance and you letting off the switch, so you have nothing to reset or adjust.
