2014 GH 31FS Heat Pump humming but no fan

Hi guys. Went out this weekend and tried to use the Elec Heat setting (heat pump). The coach was already at an interior temp of 72 and I set the tstat to 75 then put the setting to Elect Heat. The pump housing hummed loudly, then the fan came on for 2 seconds and then turned off. Then it came back on and then off. The pump housing continued to hum without the fan and then the furnace kicked on again. Any idea what could be the problem?
