2015 Greyhawk 29me wiring for Corolla Toad Help

I'm looking at buying either a Jeep Wrangler or Toyota Corolla to tow. Found lots of how to's on wiring up the Wrangler, but not on the Corolla.

Any advice or instructions on going from my 2015 Greyhawk (6 point or 7 pin receptacle?) to whatever the 2015 Corolla needs.

Thanks in advance.

Here is where I got the idea on the Corolla.

Here's one that says the 93 to 2015 can be towed 4 wheels down.

Is it possible to tow my Toyota with all four wheels on the ground?

From the link you provided. It says dolly in the chart, but above it says:
If it's a front-wheel drive vehicle with a manual transmission: These vehicles can be dinghy towed
with all four wheels on the road with the transmission shift lever in the Neutral position.

Kind of confusing on Lancaster Toyota's page.

I'm only looking at the 6 speed manual trans versions of the Corolla.

I was at Honda today to look at a used Corolla (that had just been sold) and they said some Civics could be towed, but not new ones with some sort of transmission.

I included the Corolla in my list as it's on many lists plus they make tow plates for them which they wouldn't do if they were 4 wheel down tow-able. Or at least they shouldn't.

Anyway, I'll do some more digging and see if it's ok to tow the Corolla. Otherwise the Jeep wins if I go for a toad.

The vehicles owners manual is a definitive resource.

From the 2015 Corolla owners manual.

Dinghy towing (vehicles with a manual
transmission)
Your vehicle can be dinghy towed in a forward direction (with 4
wheels on the ground)
behind a motor home.

4-1. Before driving

To prevent damage to your vehicle, perform the following procedures
before towing.
Shift the shift lever to N.
Turn the engine switch to the “ACC” position (without a smart key
system) or ACCESSORY mode (w
ith a smart key system).

Ensure that the audio system and other powered devices are turned off.
Release the parking brake.
After towing, leave the engine in idle for at least 3 minutes before driving
the vehicle.

I have a 2015 29ME I have been using a wireless battery operated magnetic set for two years. I have the bikes on the back of the Toad(2013 Explorer) when I cover the bikes it blocks the taillights. The magnetic lights are mounted on the roof and have worked great.

How often do you have to change the batteries?
What brand are you using?
Do they work as stop, tail, and brake lights?

Curious as to what you get for mpg when towing.

Thanks for info.

Looks like a good 4 down candidate with the man. trans. Kind of a common complaint with the magnetic lights is they like to come off while going down the road. Amazon sells different versions, check the reviews for the best holding
