... have to guess on this because I don't know what sound system you have. If the entertainment system is integrated into the dashboard, it might be a "setting". If you have outside speakers you won't want them on all the time, so there has to be some control for which speakers are on.

The cab radio should work on both, chassis and coach battery. They put speakers in the ceiling connected to the chassis radio in case you have people riding in the back. I even have two in the bedroom that work with the radio.

speakers

I think my cab radio is only connected to the chassis battery, when my ignition is off the radio wont work! The speakers are kind of useless when we are sitting I guess.

My tv has a small audio output jack, like a headphone jack. I run a cable from the tv to the in dash radio aux input. Set the radio on aux and the sound comes thru the speakers. I tried a bluetooth device to accomplish this since the radio has bluetooth, but there was a slight sync delay that irritated me.

In our Greyhawk - the dash radio stays on, if I leave it on and turn off the ignition. I can also power it on, with the key out/ignition off.

rtriple777, in my 2016 Greyhawk 29MV I have a touch screen radio/DVD player in the dash. If yours is the same you can go to the set-up menu screen swipe across to a secondary set-up menu screen where you can turn on the ceiling speakers to work with your TV. Sounds a lot better than the TV speakers. Hope this helps.

We have a Redhawk as well. The ceiling speakers are powered only by the dash radio which only works when the ignition is on. The TV can't be played through it unlike the GreyHawks...
