2015 Redhawk backup camera

I have a 2015 Redhawk and the backup camera has quite working. Dealer said it was a Ford problem and Ford says it is a dealer problem. I have had this MH for just over two years and the problem for a year. Fuses are good but camera does not come on when in reverse,

The camera on my Redhawk can be turned on while driving. Have you tried pressing the power button on the screen unit to see if it works?

As an aside, didn't Jayco install the camera system? I may be wrong but I didn't think that was Ford equipment

Have tried the power button several times. Not sure who installed camera. Fuses are from Ford and the dealer says it is a ford problem. I'm at a loss till Jayco gets back to me

The cameras stopped working in my 2015 Greyhawk last year, the dealer discovered the wiring harness that Jayco installed under the dash had shorted out where it crossed over the steering column. They repaired the wires and tied the bundle up so it did not lay on the steering column, everything has worked fine since then.

The camera in our 2015 Redhawk quit working... we took it to Jayco factory service center to have some other issues taken care of. They replaced the camera in less than 5 minutes.

In our 2016 Redhawk, the camera can be turned on at any time the ignition is on, and has a much better picture... BIG improvement over the 2015!

I had the same problem on my '12 Greyhawk, as well as the power mirrors stopped working at the same time. The Ford dealer said (rightly) it was a Jayco problem. The fuses in the fuse block were fine. I turns out there are several "inline" fuses in the rat's nest of wires under the dashboard, one or more of which had blown. I E-mailed Jayco with my VIN and they sent me a schematic of the system (same day - great service) but it was too hard for me to trace the wires. I finally had to take it to the Jayco dealer to get it fixed, which was about an hour's labor @ $125.
