2015 Seneca Radio Whiteout

The radio on my 2015 37FS all of the sudden stopped working. I was preparing for a trip yesterday and notice the screen was all white with a few small multicolored vertical lines. Tried the reset button and still have the same problem. Has anyone experienced this with their Jensen Radio?

Yes the Jensen JRV 215 N was such a disgrace to Jensen that you won’t find any reference to it on the Jensen website - they are trying to forget that it ever existed
Disconnecting the power from both the house and chassis batteries may “ reset “ it but it will have to be replaced at some point Les

I'm guessing the fix for this is replacing the whole unit?

My 215 did the same thing. Replaced it with a JRV9000R. Just finished the install yesterday and so far so good. The 215 was such a disaster that I was really leery about using another Jensen but the 9000 appears to be a much better unit. Nav is still no good but I didn't plan on using it anyway as I put together a standalone Android Auto which uses Google Maps.

The reason I went with the 9000 was that it looked easier for a wire for wire install. It still turned out to be a fairly large job as I had to replace the main power connector and it wasn't wire for wire. I needed both wiring diagrams to ensure I got each wire in the right place. If you decide to got with the 9000, make sure you order the 9000R as it includes the wiring harnesses you need.
