Question 2016 greyhawk 31fs lost its skin

Has anyone had or heard of this issue? All the Faux leather in my Greyhawk has started peeling off, even the decorative trim and driver/passenger seats. Thanks ahead of time.

Same thing in our 2016. Passenger seat is the worst but that's because my son squirms. Wife sewed new covers for dinette cushions, and I'm still on the hunt for seat covers that'll fit.

A very common problem.

Uh oh, I hope this isn't applicable to a 2015!

This is also happening to my 2014 31FS. The driver's seat is the worst so far, but the pass seat and the dinette also show signs of this issue.

There are numerous complaints across all brands about the faux leather failures.

We have a 2013 Jayco Greyhawk with same problem
We were told it was because the material was from China and it affected 4 or 5 years of models. We bought seat covers for the captains seats and are now looking to reupolster the jacknife sofa.

This is an industry wide problem that occurred about that time. The "leather" many/most RV producers were using was defective. Not sure the manufacture year it started nor year it was fixed. I have seen this in several friends/acquaintances RV, across many manufactures.

I had a 2017 Forest River Cherokee that had the problem. Occurred on all use of the leather; all trim, couch, 2 recliners. The peeling will continue until there is nearly no "leather" remaining on the fabric, and you will be left with a grey under-material. I ended up buying cheap couch and chair covers to cover it up.

My recliners in 2020 29mv started to peel on first trip. Not even a week old. I replaced with Recpro recliner this past winter. I knew the furniture was crap just did not expect it to look like it so soon. Your choices are recover junk they installed or replace. We replaced. Safe travels

Enjoy the journey
