Question 2016 Jayco 29XK electrical problem

On our last outing the backup camera and power mirrors quit at the same time. I've located the circuit and fuse as #25 in the passenger compartment panel which is labeled as demand lighting in the Ford manual. There's a short somewhere because the fuse blows immediately upon installation. Any body out there experience the same problem or have any comment / suggestions ?

if you going to try and locate the problem one simple trick is to get a 12 V lamp holder put spade connectors on it and plug it in across the fuse if it’s a short the light will light. Have someone watch the light while you go around pulling on wires or wiggling things until the light flickers or goes out. at that point you know you are zeroing in on the problem. Good luck

Only the cameras? Interesting. Not much help, but I located the wiring diagram manual online. Maybe you could yank the head unit, and pull the power to *one* camera at a time to isolate the issue?

Being a MH, maybe worth a look underside. May have some chaffing, or may have picked up some road debris, and hit the wire harness.

On my rig, I had quite a few wires that had fallen down and were caught in the engine cowl (the doghouse). I had that cover off to add some insulation and while I did, I secured many of the wires up out of the way. I had that cover off again recently and found some I had missed, so I secured those out of the way as well.

Anyway, the original wiring that was hanging down very well could have been the camera wiring; it was hanging in the direct top middle, right under the head unit. I didn't bother checking WHAT it was, I just zip-tied it out of the way. It was blocking the seal between the cowl and the sheet metal for the opening which was allowing MASSIVE amounts of heat into the passenger compartment...
