Parasitic draw on my chassis battery, I think I narrowed it down to the radio fuse on the drivers side fuse panel. 20 Amp fuse. I pulled the fuse and the fully charged battery held a 12.7 charge after 24 hours. Before it would discharge after 12 hours. Jensen radio. Anybody else had this issue. Chuck

Sounds like one or more of the diodes in the radio circuit have gone bad. They are wired in behind the radio.

Like Grumpy said, there's a diode pack that determines whether to draw from house or chassis. If house power is available, the radio will use that. If house power is secured, then power comes from the chassis. If you secure the 12VDC in the MH with the cutoff switch, power will come from the chassis.

This is the exact reason why I choose a Detachable Faceplate stereo for the RV. It gives me peace of mind when i store the RV. I installed a Pioneer AVH4200NEX with switchable camera inputs .

Agree w/ Grumpy and Don. I have that radio and do not have a severe draw.
