2016 Redhawk 29xk Mattress

we have had our Redhawk since July and one thing that has to change is the mattress. I am having a hard time finding places that sell the radius corner queen short.

Any suggestions?

we replaced our junk denver mattress with a short queen without rounded corners, it works just fine, rounded corners are not a necessity.

Thanks! So there is enough room to still get around the edges? We weren't sure if there would be enough room.

CW sells a Sleep Number short queen radius mattress. Pricey but offers separate settings for 2. I have a Sleep Comfort (same company) and it's way better than the 6 inch foam provided by Jayco.

Our TT had the queen short and at the foot of the mattress (6" away) was the entertainment center with the TV. Naturally, that space was going to waste so we put a standard queen mattress topper (Costco) on the top and now have the perfect solution! The bed is long enough for DH, standard-sized bedding fits perfectly, the bed is light/flexible enough to still open the under-bed storage, the set-up is much more comfortable than the original mattress (and you can get seasonal temp toppers), that unused space is now a perfect storage spot for our computer bags and back-packs.

Did you find a mattress? We just purchased a Redhawk and the mattress is not good for my back...thanks.

Anyone purchase a spring mattress vs. foam mattress and if so where?

After looking locally for a short queen (we need to try before we buy) - we opted for the best foam topper we could find. Best, meaning pricey. Serta's 3" Cool Gel Something or Other.

Ugh - no help.

Since we refuse to spend $$$$ on something we can't try, our next attempt might be to drop down to a full. Full's are 6" narrower but they're the 75" in length.

Not ideal, but this foam mattress is killing us.

Wonder if a spring mattress would work?

That's what we're looking for.
Innerspring mattress - short queen.

Very hard to find.
What brands are out there, we've never heard of so are reluctant to take a chance.
