2016 Seneca locking DEF cap

For those 2016 Seneca owners looking for a locking DEF cap, I found the Stant 10525 will fit.

Just curious, why do you want a lock on your def tank? Are people stealing def? I wouldn't think so!

I have locking fuel caps and a locking DEF cap on my Seneca. While my storage site is fenced and locked, I am worried less about someone removing things from my tanks than I am about someone putting something into the tanks!

As Robbbyr says, to protect a substantial investment.

+1 Locking caps for the fuel and DEF are the very first "accessories" I purchased. If something beside DEF or fuel makes it into the respective tanks you'll be up an unsanitary tributary with no means of locomotion and out a bunch money to fix it.

+1 on the foreign matter/vandalism concern. Concerning diesel locking caps, can you recc. a model #? (not sure if there is a standard size for diesel commercial trucks) I'm assuming you have to keep track of a separate key for each diesel tank?

Thanks!
