2017 29MV Kitchen pull out counter top issues

Hello, has anyone had the kitchen pull out countertop come flying out when driving, turning. Im afraid these hinges and rails are going to pull out from the wood. I know the more weight in the drawers equal the force taken to open but this is getting dangerous . What strength latch's or catch's are used in this drawers and full pull out cabinet? maybe upgrade the latch's? thanks for any suggestions Ted Littleton, Colorado

Yep, had same problem. While in for some scheduled maintenance, our dealer attached a 2nd latch to the back of the unit to keep it tight. All is good now.

In my 2016 29MV the unit did slide out a few times. My solution was to run a bungee cord from the assist handle on the inside right side of the entry door around the slideout countertop. I threaded the bungee thru the handles on all the cabinets and drawers and hook it on the last handle before the stove. This method has worked.

Yea, that's ok when it's out of warranty, or an emergency on the road fix. But when it's still under warranty.....
