2017 Greyhawk 29MV Purchase

Looked at and got a purchase agreement on a 2017 Greyhawk 29MV today. Improvements look to be small. Biggest is the removal of the pantry between the fridge and shower and using that space for the 12 foot double door fridge (no ice maker though). The sofa and cab seating has a design in the middle of the backrests.

Other than decals pretty much the same as a 16. We originally wanted a 16 but when the big fridge was there we changed our mind pretty fast.

They just received this one.

I don't know PB, that seems to be excessive. Giving up the pantry? Hummm....

What's the price point?

With the other storage in the unit, we would rather have the larger fridge. MSRP $117,193.00 Our cost $81,995.

Hi! I am new to this forum and I am looking into getting this same layout. I want to order the 2017 model due in part because it comes with the larger fresh water tank and the upgraded 1000 watt magnum inverter. I also like that they removed the carpeting from under the dinette and bedroom. What I wish they had not changed was the padding in front of the dinette benches and the padding in the partitions behind the captain chairs. Not sure why they removed that as it made the coach look warmer and classier.

Hello, everyone!
Has anyone seen the layout for the new Greyhawk model, the 29W? I received an email with a revision sheet dated 2/23/16 with the new revisions and deletions.

Cheers!

Hello all;

I have been searching the web for 2017 29MV information and have not been successful. We really like the way the 2016 looks but won't be ready to buy until next year. I was excited to see mentions in this conversation but would like to learn more.

Will you please share with me the URLs you are following to get these early peeks at next year's model?

My thanks,

Lindsay

Lindsay, I saw the pictures a couple of days ago on an internet search but they have since disappeared. I can quickly tell you what's new on them....
Increased fresh water tank, about 10 gallons more.
All new Sahara Beige and Ocean Blue graphics package (FREE)
Two new color choices in Autumn Air and Summer Bliss
Upgraded to Magnum 1,000 watt inverter.
Ignition lock-out function for slide outs and awning, in other words, the RV won't start until slideout is in and awning too.
Removed carpeting from under the dinette and bedroom.
Newly redesigned dinette end panels (that's the padding you see in the 2016 models)
Cup holders recessed into booth dinette tops.
Newly added skylight for increased natural light.
Cappuccino and French Vanilla decors feature all new fabric selections.
All new Coffee decor option.
New oil-rubbed bronze cabinet and bath hardware.
Stylish new bedspread and sham
Additional receptacles added throughout
Newly redesigned command center.
12 cu ft. refrigerator on the 29MV (optional)

Thanks for the quick turnaround! I guess my timing was off- I will keep searching periodically. Did I see you mentioned an email regarding the 29MV as well as 29W? What is a revision sheet?

Seems like the more I learn, the more I find I don't know... :-)

My thanks,

Lindsay

Found a dealer in VA that has a 2017 MV on their lot with numerous photos.

2017 Jayco Greyhawk 29MV, Chesapeake VA - - RVtrader.com

Noticed some changes we like (skylight, larger windows & less carpeted areas) and others we are happy with (hidden cabinet hinges, bathroom door trim & control panel door), in our 2015 model.

Looks like double-door fridge is a option, not standard.

Yes it is an option but that little pantry was kind of a waste of space in our opinion. The larger fridge was a much better option for us. The difference between the 2016 29MV we had on hold and the 2017 with the large fridge was $2k in real money.

Does the larger frig have an icemaker?

This one does not but from I was told you can order a fridge from an icemaker from the factory. Don't know if I want and ice maker. Kinda leery about making ice from the fresh water tank. We prefer to get packaged ice.

Just an update: Got an email regarding specs and info for the 2017 and I received this from Jayco.

Thank you for reaching out. Attached you will find the marketing material for model year 2016. Unfortunately we don’t have the same information produced for 2017. We’re working on the material and will hopefully have it available on the website in the near future. Below you will find a list of the top 5 model year enhancements:

1. Increased the fresh water tank size (47 gallons)
2. Replaced the cab-over bunk mattress with a 1pc. Hinged mattress for easier use and storage.
3. Cup holders recessed into booth dinette tops
4. Newly added skylight for increased natural light
5. Upgraded to a tri-fold sofa in the 29MV floorplan

Wow I'd really like to have that extra fresh water capacity. 33 gallons is definitely a limiting factor for me when boondocking.
