after replacing aux battery and inverter and a few fuses,now all working except step only works with eng running,bu camera says no signal(camera was bad before work done)where does power come from when all is off and battery switch turned on?

That power should come from the house battery(s). I don't have power steps, so I'm not sure where they get power from. Perhaps someone will better answer your question, that has a MH.

when engine is running steps work power comes from relay in engine compartment,when its off I have no power to switch inside from battery,says is comes from house battery,grey/white wire to switch has no power so when switched no power goes to step,thanks
