So I'm finally getting to know my 2107 Seneca 37TS. I picked it up in Indiana and drove it back to Colorado in November. This past winter read everything, and I mean every book manual online.......
This weekend I took it out of its indoor storage and brought it to our home.
Spent today mostly familiarizing myself with the Entertainment system. So the DVD player is behind the TV not in front. Well seeing the DVD player is not controlled remotely using RF(Radio Frequency) its using IR(infrared) which means you have to be in direct line of the DVD player to control it where as the RF you don't, it can be behind the TV. So, in order to control the DVD player I'll have to move it to the glass cabinet next to the TV. Which means I'll have to drill a hole in the cabinet big enough for the HDMI cable. The power is nothing as its using the small round connector.
Am I missing something here
Why would Jayco do this. Oh, for the same reason putting an shielded, loosely fuse box under the drivers seat.
I just read this post tonight so I'll go look at how mine is set up. I think they fixed it for 2017.
