This is my 3rd class C ,so I am familiar with the normal ways to clean a grey water tank. But after driving 100 miles trying to get the empty tank to read empty not 2/3 full, used degreasers, put 20 gals of water and road 100 miles ect. I need to know what’s next. How do you check sensors in the tank without removing tank ?
Trying to fix those cheezy tank sensors can make your life a frustrating experience unless you can see the sensors and verify that the grounds are good and connections are tight. Other that that, they are nothing but a lifetime of trouble.
If you have to rely on sensors, get some goods ones, like SeeLevel.
Some people have tried a mixture of Dawn dishwashing detergent, and Calgon powder water softener. Fill your tank 3/4 full and put 1 cup of Dawn and 1 cup of the Calgon powder. Then take the rig over some curves to swish it around.Ive heard it works well but never tried myself.
Issue I had with mine,2018 Grayhawk MV, my black tank reading not empty and gray not reading empty as well was because sewer drain was higher than the outlets to both black and grey tank outlets.
