My daughter and family heard some banging while entering a camping parking area. Turns out it was the electric steps going out and in...while the ignition was on and driving slowly in the parking lot. When stopped the steps operating normally. Turning the pwr off switch on the steps did not stop the problem.
This is a new unit purchased in January.
