2018 Redhawk 31xl internal external speakers

I have an internal/external speaker switch. When external is selected the internal speakers still play. Doesn’t seem right? Anyone else have any experience with this?

New owner any info is appreciated.
Thanks
Gary

When switching to external, all it does is send the front doors signal to the outside speakers, the rear still stays active in the coach.

Does it have the Garmin Fusion radio with the tablet that comes out? If it does, the radio has different zones. On mine zone1 was the door speakers, zone2 dining area, zone3 or 4 was outside. I was still looking to figure out the other zone (which ever was not outside), perhaps its the bedroom. You can re-label them so you don't have to remember which is which. Each zone has a separate volume control on the tablet. If you want the internal off you have to change the volume slider for the zone. Here's the manual:

Our Bungalow with the Furrion dv3300 works the same as the Garmin. There are 2 zones, main living area and master bedroom. The exterior speakers switch is in the master bedroom. If I leave both Zone 1 and Zone 2 on at the same time, I get music in the master bedroom and the living area. If I flip the exterior speaker switch, I get music in the living area and outside. If I want music just outside, then I turn off Zone 1 and make sure the speaker switch is on exterior.
