Just got back from a long trip since day after Christmas to Florida. Had 4 issues....first one was the outside entertainment system door came open on 95 and after shutting it and taping it down I found the latch to be loose once tightened down. It can move back and forth even after latching it down...not good. Also the window above the kitchen sink flaps in the wind and creates a banging noise. Replaced the weather seal to try to fix somewhat and it still flaps in the wind and rattles to the point of it being nerve racking while driving. Another problem started today with a flexing pop noise above my head on the drivers side somewhere between the slide and the door. Not sure what is cause that but it only does it on a rolling like bump or bridge. Final issue is the door moves with the wind but thankfully it doesnt make any noise but it moves more than 1/2 inch when traveling down a highway.

These items listed should be above and beyond on a nice coach like this...it doesnt make any sense to me why these would be happening on a new ride. Has anyone else had these issues and if so any fix other than the dealer which is scheduled a month away.

I think we have all experienced different issues (which is interesting because you would think they might be screwing up the same things at the factory but it’s different).

Our windows have come open while driving and I have needed the copilot to close them in motion (she hates that). My entrance door rattles horrendously (put towels on steps helps). Just realized that somehow my bathroom vent lid has become cracked and leaking (nothing hit it and enternabond tape holding well). The most detrimental is that in addition to a really long list of factory repairs this April they will need to replace an entire sidewall due to what we think is delamination (bad at factory).

Oh yes, I have had bay doors flop open in shady areas!

I think that due to the expense of these trucks you would expect more quality but this is RVs! Not minimizing your troubles, that’s just all I can really say about it.

We have also had the kitchen window "flexing" open on us. Only when driving in certain windy conditions. The crank handle stays closed and tight but the sides of the window flex enough a person can see out the gap created by the flex. We are going to video it next time as it is very sporadic. I'm surprised this window has not broke yet.
My driver's door also moves a lot. Next time I take it in I'm going to ask them to adjust the door unless I feel motivated enough to try to adjust it myself one of these days.
We've had the same storage bay door open 3 times on us and it has been "fixed" twice by the dealer. I've looked at the latch and have no idea why this continues to happen.

Consider getting into a nice one-owner used unit next time, perhaps one with a squeaky passenger seat (salesman speak for a unit that one spouse loved but the other spouse didn't). Give it a thorough going over of course, and you'll likely find the first owner fixed just about everything that needed to be fixed on their watch.

Interestingly it’s been the same bay door for us too and it’s solid when I tug on the locked latch but it still pops open!

EXACTLY!

However there will still be things that pop up and break, even for those of us that bought a one-year old with 9k-miles. Some things just fall apart after use.

Well I pulled the window totally off today and found the what I thought to be metal frame was plastic. There was some sealant placed at the front left (wind facing) where it appeared to be put together and the lip was not down. Little hammer to it and it went together flat. I put a new weather stripping line back around the entire window and put the window back on. We will see on the next drive out what it does. Either way I have an appt of Feb 4 2019 with the dealer to see what they think and to look at some other things.

Exactly what we did. We bought a 2015 with 30k miles on it in 2017. We've had to adjust a few storage bay door latches, and did have one big "fix" the first week (cab top was splitting away from the body and needed better screws... service center fixed that under the extended warranty we purchased with the used unit), but so far - knock on wood - the rest has been excellent.

We've put another 8k miles on it in the two years we've had it, and love it!
