2019 Greyhawk 29MV Slide Toppers

I just saw an ad and video for the 2019 Greyhawk 29MV from Haylett RV. In the ad on their website and their video, they said the 2019 unit came with side toppers. They even had pictures of the unit with the side copper installed. They stated in the video that, on the 2019 Grayhawk 29MV, side toppers were standard equipment.

Does anyone know if this is true? If so, are the toppers also standard equipment on the 2019 Greyhawk 29MVP as well?

In 2018 you had to get full body paint to get slide toppers. Not sure if that changed for 2019.

Our 2018 29mvp has factory slide toppers but also has full body paint. I have seen many 2018 29mvp that did not have slide toppers but didin't have the full body paint either.

So my guess is you have to get the option for full body paint to get the slide toppers either in a regular greyhawk or prestige.

I don't think it's the full body paint, because the vehicle is white in color. I don't think the full body paint comes in white does it?

Jaytalk...here is a picture off RV Trader of a new 2019 29mvp without full body paint. Notice it doesn’t have slide toppers.

Hey guys, I believe the slide toppers are part of the Greyhawk “Prestige” package. When I factory ordered my 2018 MVP with the Prestige package the toppers were included. I also ordered the full body paint but I don’t think it included the toppers.

Slide toppers only come with full body paint option...look on RVTrader at all the 2018 and 2019 Greyhawks or Greyhawk Prestige and show me one that has slide toppers without full body paint.

There are none.

I confirmed this when we purchased our 2018 29MVP. Our dealer had this unit on the lot which we liked but wasn't sure we wanted the full body paint because of the cost. We considered ordering a 2019 29MVP just like the one he had only without the paint package. That's when we found out the 2019 without paint would not get slide toppers. Also found out they don't offer slide toppers as a stand alone factory option...only comes with the paint. Dealer can install them on delivery.

So he worked us a killer deal on the 2018 he had and we brought it home...full body paint, slide toppers, 2 air conditioners, 4 door large refrigerator and we are now happy campers!

Just trying to clear up misinformation so someone doesn't make unneeded mistakes ordering or purchasing.

I have discovered that my 2018 29MV has an awning track already installed. Seems like it would be SUPER easy to add toppers. So I'm going to go about seeing if I can add them myself... I'll do a separate post and writeup if/when I do it.

I believe slide toppers are standard on the 2019 Greyhawks that are coming off the line now. Just saw another 2019 online that had them. I have one on order and my dealer told me they are standard now.

You better get that in writing because the 2019's I have seen not one has had slide toppers unless it also got the expensive full paint option.

Here is a new fresh 2019 Greyhawk Prestige...no slide toppers! Again, they only come with full body paint!

I saw the same video that the Op referenced in his first post and it had slide toppers. I called Haylett and they told me it came from factory with them. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t a dealer add on.

Here is another one without...again it is a Prestige and no slide toppers. I'm just as confused as you guys! I guess we will find out when yours come in.

My new 2019 Greyhawk 30Z was just delivered to dealer yesterday. It has toppers over both slides.

Congratulations! Thanks for clearing this up for all of us. I guess Jayco stepped up and now includes toppers on all slides. Very nice!
