2020 Jayco Greyhawk 27U Ford E-450 Blinking "P" on Dash

Hello,

Yesterday I picked up my Jayco Greyhawk 27U from storage and the "P" is blinking when I engage the transmission. It drives fine, just curious what would cause this.

Look for loose wires under transmission. If you have one read the codes to see if sensor is bad. The flashing light is not normal. Cheaper if you find loose or faulty wire yourself. Good luck

Your chassis has a 3-year/36,000 mile warranty offered and supported by Ford. Look in your owner's manual for contact information and call Ford customer support, they will be able to help you. Have your VIN handy when you call.

You can also take it to a Ford dealership and have them take a look.

I wouldn't bother with Jayco as they'll just push it off to Ford anyway.

Blinking "P" indicates the TCM (Transmission Control Module) has detected a fault. You'd need a code reader that can read transmission codes (not just MILs) to determine what the fault is. Could be as simple as a loose wire or could be much worse or anywhere in between.
