2021 Greyhawk coach door squeak

Our new 2021 Greyhawk has a constant squeak in the coach door. Has anybody had any experience with that and was able to silence this week?

Mine has squeeked before

Took some slide lube and hit the jamb edges and hinges

Easy peasy

Did this work? Please let me know.

Our coach door has a constant 'chirp'/squeak also while driving. When pulled tight it subsides for a few miles, but any jostling from the road, causes it to resume. So, I was thinking thicker weather stripping to better seal the door, keep it tightly closed?? If simple lubrication works, will try that first.

You can move the rod that the door latches on in to make it fit tighter.

What duct tape does not fix, silicone spray lube will.

And if those two fail, grab "The Bigger Hammer".

Our Greyhawk will make this noise if the deadbolt is not engaged. It only wasn't engaged because it broke on a previous trip and we were waiting for a new handle.

Others have had suggestions that are around the same concept. If the door is shut more tightly you won't get that. In our case its making sure the deadbolt keeps it really tight. I need to push the door closed tighter to engage the deadbolt which gives a tighter fit when driving.

Lubricating the door, its hinges and all around the seal area has mitigated the squeaking, mostly. The door still squeaks, but mostly only when we have a cross wind. I'll try what some other owners have suggested - tighten the door more.

And you can look very closely around the edges for door to frame contact that may contribute to the noise. A light smear of grease on the deadbolt and striker eliminates those from the equation.

303 Protectant or Armor All on the seal is good for it too.

Just a thought. You might try adjusting the striker in a bit. It will hold the door tighter to the weatherstrip .

In my case it was the rear pasenger window. The glue came undone and there was the noise. Caulk did the trick. Took 3 weeks of trouble shooting to find the actual location of the noise.
