2021 Redhawk 31F Slide closing but reopening

Hi all, I am new to the C Class family.
We are very excited with our new 2021 31F Redhawk. Within one week of taking delivery, we noticed that the slide opens on the bottom, once we hit the road. It is locked on the top but it opened about 3 inches on the bottom. This slide is almost 25 feet long and it was very concerning. We took it to the dealer and they said they will file a claim and Jayco will fix it. Apparently the motor was "missing a tooth" and it was not locking properly. We loved the unit, and have not have any issues with anything else, but I am wondering if this is fixable. Has anyone else experienced this?

Slide problems like you're having are a bit more common than you'd expect. Slide mechanisms are complicated.

The diagnosis - missing a tooth is a new one on me. Maybe it is, maybe it's something else.

Yeah - it's fixable. There are enough slide problems across all of the RVs that working on these things isn't a huge deal.

I wouldn't freak out too much about this one.
