2021 Redhawk SE 22A Chassis not made by Chevrolet

I happened to be looking for the OCC on our new 2021 Redhawk and found the following door sticker. Surprise! I guess Chevy was too busy.

I guess I should say I have a 22A on the Navistar 4500 chassis!

GM had put out this press release a number of years ago when they entered an agreement with Navistar to help reenter the commercial truck market. I hadn't realized that this extended down to the van Cab/Chassis line.

I think the real way to say it is " Not assembled by CHEVROLET". The components are still GM.

The future trucks will be jointly developed using Navistar’s expertise in rolling chassis configurations and manufacturing capabilities, and GM’s commercial components and engines. The vehicles are slated for production in 2018 and will be manufactured at Navistar’s facility in Springfield, Ohio.

So this is sort if like the new chevy transmission with the Allison sticker on it.
