26’ Slide Awning

We purchased a 2018 Greyhawk 30X which has a 26’ 1 piece slide. We are trying to find a Slide awning for our rig since it is brand new and we want to keep the water off the slide and out of the rig right from the beginning. So far we have been unsuccessful even inquiring from our dealer and need to find a resource before Winter.
Any Ideas and suggestions??
Mike

Mike,

Welcome to JOF

Just thinking out loud here, but not sure if anyone makes a slide topper for a 26ft long slide (?).

Checking some (3) manufacture web sites seems 192" - 196" (flange to flange) is the maximum slide lengths.

Not sure they do, Haven’t found 1 yet and the dealers don’t seem to know about any! The word “Custom” is always so expensive!
Thanks, Mike

If you venture into a custom topper, I would recommend that you request the outer slide wall, roof, and slide sidewall frame drawings from Jayco confirming the wood/metal header locations......, may become critical for effective slide topper mounting bracket(s) attachment. I would bet the slide topper weight and spring strength would increase.
