27U Lippert Leveling Jacks stopped working

Have had our unit for over a year and these have worked great. Put them down last night a couple of times and all good - including auto level. Today - they do not work at all. Screen looks and acts normal, but auto level does nothing and went to manual and no jack will go down. When hit the auto level it says it is lowering the jacks but nothing happens and then it says unable to lower jack. Any thoughts on where I should start to figure this out. Thanks.

Yes. Does it make any difference if slide out or any storage areas open? Have done this many times and have forgotten brake before and it always lets me know.

Manual worked

Had tried it earlier - but tried again and auto level would not work - but able extend the Jack’s manually. Not sure why the difference. I did just start all over with parking brake and closed everything up. Hmmmm.

I had similar problem on my 2021 27U. Jacks went down, leveled but would not retract and no power to the control pad in the coach. Any ideas?

27U leveling jacks

Assuming you have engine running, and parking brake on - that sounds like a fuse (hopefully that simple). Now the challenge would be finding that fuse as I believe would be in engine compartment fuse box as that is driven from that electrical system. Interested in response from others. I think any Jayco MH with Lippert leveling would be similar routing.

Make sure the ground wire on the pump has good contact.

I once had this problem and like an earlier poster said, my ground wire was loose. While at the Jayco plant they showed me how to reset the controller. There is a pull type like fuse that you take out for about five minutes. I didn't even know where the controller was until they showed me. Mine was in the A/C cord compartment mounted on the top. I will also add that calling Lippert support turned out to be very informative. They are very knowledgeable and friendly.

From numerous reports on this board, the ground wire is by far the most likely culprit. It is prone to vibration failure and road corrosion. Then one day - it fails when you least expect it.

Leveler Ground cable.

When my leveler ground cable broke on a road trip recently I was able to find a replacement at O'Reilly auto parts. They had the perfect replacement with the battery and starter cables. I just removed the broken cable and took it in the store to compare lengths, etc.

So, what’s the preventive fix? Dielectric grease? Fluid Film?
