Good Morning, I have zero experience with the 5 Star tuner, didn't even know what it was until I saw you post. I do have some experience with engines, gas and diesel, mostly in the marine environment, some in the hot rod world. Take a look at Thor Forums and check the 5 Star facts thread. Just as a matter of general policy my policy has become leave it stock, keep it tuned and change the oil. Your V10 is a 300K mile truck engine. It's designed to run at under 4,200 RPMs hauling a lot of weight for a long time. The engine can be "forced" to run faster and stronger but are you going to be taking hole shots in your motor home? Maybe there's a red neck motor home drag racing or hill climb community. I've seen many, many hot chip's, power boosters and the like. In the old days the saying was, if you want more power you need a bigger engine. That's not strictly true anymore if it ever was but the concept is still valid. Keep it under 4,200, keep it tuned up, change the oil and expect it to do what it's designed to do. Please do get a look at the 5 Star thread in the Thor Forum.
