6 months into RV Life - regular maintenance

Hi all, we bot a 2021 Greyhawk 27u. Man, does that bed sleep great! We are beginning to run into some maintenance issues though. Mostly little ones like the microwave falling off the wall (ugh) and the seatbelt cover coming loose along with loose screws showing up from who knows where.

My question is what check list do you use to preempt or prevent these issues?

I don’t want the Admiral to notice. Lol.

Not uncommon to find a loose screw now and then but the other items you mentioned should not happen. They should be covered under warranty and I would get the place that sold it to you to examine those issues. I can't think of a checklist that would catch uncommon issues.

First checklist is - use your ears. Our squeeky microwave drove me insane while driving. Put a punch of screws in there and now I just listen for the squeeks to return. Second will be a visual inspection. Look around for something missing a screw.


Seriously, I never felt the need to look for problems.
There are always quite a few waiting for you when you open the door.






Speaking of that - our door lock broke.
