6 volt golf cart batteries

Developing a plan to upgrade my two stock group 24 batteries. Has anyone installed 6 volt golf cart batteries in a Jayco class C? Doesn’t seem like they would fit. All the ones I have looked at are too tall. Thanks.

How much are you increasing your amps. With just two you are not doubling your amp rating of the golf cart battery just the voltage to get 12 volts.

You don't say which C but they would not fit in mine and I am running one Lithium 12V.

I ran dual 6s for years but we boon-docked and hunted back country with the toy hauler 5th wheel. If you are not doing something like that 2 6 volts is a waste of money even if you can find a spot to place both.

The batteries in my Jayco are under the entry step. The GC2 battery won't fit. I upgraded to LIFEPO4 and had a difficult time finding ones that would fit. Finally settled on two Renogy SmartLithium 100 AH and had to make some mods to the battery tray to fit them. The battery space is not very tall and won't fit much that is taller than a Group 24 (8.875 inches).
