7 way Circuit Board?

Under the technical section today I posted a problem I was having with no power to the left turn signal. All of the connections are tight and the fuses are in good condition. Does anyone know if there is a circuit board from the 7-way to the coach circuits and if so where is it? A faulty circuit board was suggested as a possibility by a knowledgable friend of mine.

I've not yet seen any type of circuit board that is used in conjunction with brake/turn signal/clearance lights on any type of trailer or motor home. Everything is wired directly from the plug to the harness of the trailer.

You should be able to clip the leads of a meter to each one of the pins in the 7 pin receptacle, apply the brakes, operate the turn signals or 4 way flashers and watch the needle/display on the meter move accordingly.

Thanks for your advice. I am going back to the storage yard tomorrow and check it out.

Mystery solved! The problem was a bad fuse after all. Except it was in the box labeled "chassis". I was looking in the box labeled trailer.

It cost me $138.00 in labor to find out.

Lesson Learned!
