8000 Generator oil and radiator access

How do you guys check the oil, fill the unit with oil and check the radiator water level with the way they have the generator placed in my 2014 Seneca? It does not make any sense to me. The fills are facing towards the front of the MH instead of facing outward.

I also have a '14 TS and I use a funnel with a flexible spout to add oil and coolant. The coolant cap accessible outside is only to the coolant recovery tank, the actual pressure cap is underneath the access panel just forward of the oil dipstick/fill and coolant recovery tank caps. You have to take the access cover off and pull up the coolant fill hose with the pressure cap attached if you have completely drained the coolant and need to refill the system. For normal service checks you just verify the level in the recovery tank via the external (should be blue) cap.

Changing the oil and fuel filters is a little messy, they are accessible under the unit inside the access door. But not hard to access in my experience.

Same here

Rick

I just did maintenance of our 2014 Seneca 37FS. Mad a funnel with an added hose length to fit the fill ports. Agreed, it is a hard reach, but worked.

Have only checked the oil leves (I did have the original oil changed after 50 hours), and found it a little of a challenge, but just part of the look around. Have you seen some of the Class A's and B's? I'm not the much of a contortionist any more.
