9000k and hankook tires out of round

So went to shop today for an alignment and caster adjustment. Ask tech to balance tires along with alignment. All went well till tires were Checked. They were out of round and unable to get them balanced. His advice was get some good tires for front of rig. Not a fan of the stock tires that were out of round. So the question is what are you running on the front of your class c? Did you stick with the stock hankook or replace them? If you replaced them what did you go to. Thanks for all replies.

Enjoy the journey

First thing I would do would be call Hankook since that is a factory defect.

Grumpy I agree with you but suspect that will not get me much. Cheap tires built in Indonesia. Not to interested in getting another pair.

They are used on many semis and I had them on my truck and got great service. They do make tires in the US too and have a good reputation. "for what it's worth"..

I have had them on several cars and they were very good.

I’m sure they have plenty of good tires just not this model for front of heavy RV. In my younger years I had two full size van conversions. They were very hard on front end tires. Cheap tires never held up. Early tire wear on these cars caused me to quit buying cooper tires after having first pair fail and get replaced under warranty. The replacements were as bad as the first pair. I could be wrong but not worth the cost or time chasing bad cheap tires. I will buck up and put good tires on rig. Just looking for what others have done.

Enjoy the journey

I am not a fan of Hankooks. Our 2009 Greyhawk came with Michelin LTX M/S . After 6 years, we replaced them with a set of Michelin LTX M/S2. The only tires I'd put on a Motorhome are Michelin or Goodyear. I'd rather save money elsewhere, not on tires.

Can you tell me what trie size you run. Michelin does not list it in my size. Current tires are : 225 75/r16

I run those tires on my 5th wheel and my truck and loved them. Thanks for reply.

Enjoy the journey

I believe they were 225 75r16. It would appear Michelin no longer makes the LTX M/S2 in a 16" tire.

Like others, I've run Hankooks and wouldn't hesitate to run them again. That said, Goodyear Wranglers went on the RV because they were on sale.

Did I read that right that the tech said all six were out of round???
if so, I'd go "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I doubt that!" and have him check his machine.

I think the Agilis Cross climate is the replacement.

I agree it looks like the Agilis cross climate will be what I go with unless I find something better. I’ve had better luck with Michelin than any other brand. Safe travels

Enjoy the journey
