We did on our 33" TT that was on the lake, for 10 years. A full trailer cover would have lasted about a month, from the wind. An A/C cover will definitely protect it, and add to it's longevity.

Now, our smaller one gets a full cover for the winter, so a separate A/C cover isn't needed.

Yes. I have been doing this for many years on two different trailers. I'm convinced that in the winter it keeps snow and ice from building up and potentially causing issues.

X2. Generally wait until it’s cold and staying cold before I put them on to keep condensation from building up, and then take them off fairly early in the spring.

I keep mine in a garage, that’s why I don’t cover, otherwise, I would do something to keep it out of the sun and weather.

I don't but mine is under a covered shed. Either way, I would remove the cover every season and inspect for wasp and dirt dauber nests.
