AC/Fridge cover ?

should the roof plastic covers be treated with something? they set in the AZ sun all day. the covers on my Coachman were just turned to starch and a small hail storm just destroyed them.
car wax, fiberglass wax or some type of gel coat treatment?
thanks Rod in AZ

I have seen 303 mentioned a lot and there is another product called Sunguard.

Not sure how a bit of spray could stop UV but I hope 303 does cause that is what I have used.

I do put foil bubble wrap style duct wrap to keep the sun out of my windows and that has worked from the inside.
