AC Soft Starters - Jayco RV Owners Forum

Jimmyd Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2018 Location: Eastpoint, Fl. Posts: 338	AC Soft Starters Looking for information from anyone who has installed the Coleman AC soft starters. Curious to how they work and what members think about them. We recently installed a second 15,000 btu AC only unit in our bedroom which runs on a designated 30 amp cord. Did I mention this is in a Greyhawk 29 MV. We now can freeze meat in our coach. Worked great out west in the desert as long as we had the necessary power pedestals at RV parks. Also looking at the quieter defuser so that when watching TV we can keep the volume at a decent level. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Jimmyd
