Accolade mod for the critters

I made a mod to the Accolade 37TS to benefit our three cats.

I removed the useless (to us) couch inn front of the TV and installed some cabinets and secured the kitten crates to the cabinets.

Nice use of the space. As you said with the tv mounted behind the couch, the couch becomes useless.

The other thing we considered was an electric fireplace. The cats won out because we want the dinette back when we are traveling that was the configuration we were using. Also, the cabinets are now the storage location for pet dishes and food so some other space was freed up for DW's use.

I got a couple inquiries on how I secured the crates to the cabinets.

Here is a pic of the straps I used. There are 3 screws in each half of the strap with the finished project.
