Accordion door changes

Just curious, has anyone removed/ replaced their accordian door to the bedroom and placed a slide / hinged door? Is it possible or the design of the coach makes it impossible?

What year and model do you have? My accordion door is in front of the bathroom and I have a slider for the bedroom. I have barely used mine but would have to look at it closer as far to ease of removing it. From what I remember in my Melbourne 24K a swing or sliding door in that position would not be possible or awkward. I'm sure removing it would be possible though. Probably would take some dressing up to cover where it hung.

Its a 2020 Entegea Esteem 29V. The accordion door separates the bedroom from the mid bath. Having kids, was looking for a way to get a little more privacy.

The 29V is roughly equivalent to the 29MV, which is what I have.

In my rig, the reason you couldn't mount a sliding door there is because the door when open would then cover the thermostat and wall switch (which are mounted on the wall between the master and the bath). Actually, the thermostat sits far enough off the wall, the door wouldn't cover it, it would physically block it.

I've seen pictures of these units that actually run a "pocket" door there, but I have no idea when that started or stopped.
