Hoppers4, can you elaborate on these (where/when/how) with pics if you got them?

Accumulator - https://www.amazon.com/SHURflo-182-2...70_&dpSrc=srch This accumulator can also be found at Camping World.

Wheel covers came from RVWheel.com. They have them for your year of MH also.

Door hinge retrofit kit - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Battery tray with strap - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I put the tray in the compartment aft of the built in battery. Laid down a piece of 1/2 plywood in the compartment and screwed the tray to that. When I decide to install another battery, it'll be an AGM with a small hose attached to the vent to vent to the outside world. I'll be able to run #2 cables through the back of the compartment with some waterproof feed-thru grommets. I've already replaced the original battery with an AGM and if I'm going to add the second battery, I'll need to do it soon so the batteries will be the same vintage.

hoppers4,

I just read your April post and was curious about your second battery install. I recently replaced my OEM battery with an AGM 105 AH 12 volt battery and was also looking to add a second battery of the exact same type. My question is did you make your install of your second battery in the compartment aft the original battery location and if so did you need to somehow reinforce the compartment to hold the weight of the battery, plywood, tray, etc.) or is the compartment sturdy enough to hold the weight? My battery weighs 66 pounds and I was concerned about the extra weight in the compartment. Any info you can give me would be much appreciated.

The 2nd battery has been a big improvement
We installed it in the empty compartment in
front of the battery ,
Our battery was 70 lbs .
I added extra screws on the flange going into the under floor.
Added a thin steel strap under the compartment and attached
them to bolts on under frame.
We also used a ratchet strap inside to hold down to floor
of compartment where i attached 2 small steel loops.
I cut 2 holes for cables to go through and 2 more 1 inch hold for
ventilation.
I really watched it for failure for the first few trips no issues as of yet
