Adding water to my fwtank from a container

I have a 2018 30x and need to add water to my fresh water tank from a container. Owners manual says to attach siphon hose to city water fill, insert the hose into my container and set control panel to country fill then turn on the pump. Nothing happens. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong

Make sure both the valves are turned correctly. Look at the sticker on the bulkhead below the water selection valves. These must both be in the proper position for it to work properly.

Got it resolved

Evidently I had some air in the lines that was not allowing it to create a siphon. Sorry for the false alarm. First time out in the new motor home and am working out the bugs.

Glad you posted.... My NP is on order. Didn't know you could siphon from a container. I was planning on getting a tank for the bed of the truck and thought I would also need a pump.

It'll probably be labeled "Country Fill" on the valves. It is so on ours. Also, the check valve on our Greyhawk is too strong and I have to flip the conical screen to get the pump to suck it up and into the tank.

No worries...I had the same problem with my 31DS when trying to siphon antifreeze. I found that by opening the shower valve for a second or two and elevating the container got the suction started and then it went quick.
