Advice on Auto Leveling

My husband & I have a 2014 GreyHawk 31DS & really need a leveling system. Looking for recommendations on what to get & how to get them installed. I want to get them as a gift to him but Iíve read that some have issues with placement, height, etc. Please help me make our trips & setups less taxing on us. Thanks

Some enterprising and resourceful individuals have done it themselves. But it looks to painful to me, so I'd farm it out.

If you agree - that means finding someone willing to do it. Your local RV dealers and their shops are probably full. You should call, but I'll guess they're going to say they'll get to it in weeks. I use a portable RV tech for some things, but I don't know if they'd tackle the jacks. You'll have to call around to find out.

I'm a little confused as I thought Greyhawks came with a leveling system. Our 2016 did, and the 2014 31FK we were looking at had one too. I'll be surprised if you have any placement issues. [ They may hang a bit lower that expected as ours do. ]

Regardless, then it comes down to brands. Ours is an "Equalizer" branded system:

Lippert and Bigfoot are two other names I see mentioned frequently.
You're probably looking at $3000+ for the hardware. Then paying for the installation.

My 2013 31FS came with Bigfoot leveling system. This was an option to get done at the factory. I bought it already installed. Works fine for me, could be upwards of $5k for the entire system and installation.

My 2014 31FS did not have a levelling system when we decided to buy it. The Dealer chose an HWH Corp 725 Series system to it, and this system works well. One benefit of this system is the jacks "kick down", which works well in the limited ground clearance of this unit.
