Mark which campground are you heading to?

You don't want to dive SLD with your rig attached more than you need to. There are several bridges and narrow, sharp curves that I would not recommend while towing. There are several access points and would recommend going to the closest point to your destined CG location. There are numerous CG's in the valley that are very nice and give you quick access to the park via the access points to drive and enjoy the parkland. Wildlife includes bears, eagles, hawks, deer, birds and other smaller creatures with overlooks on both the east and west sides of the range.

To really enjoy it wait for a blue bird day and start early to get the best wildlife views. Be patient, stop a lot and do at least one of the hike paths. Then you can eat lunch somewhere within the park and drive back to see it all again.

We spent about 7 hrs and stopped at Skyland with another at Big Sky for lunch. The entrance from Luray does have a low bridge right as you enter. Not sure about southern more points like Stanley.

One of our first stops in August. Really enjoyed the falls and Buffalo.

We drove part of the Skyline today. It was a lot of fun in the Jeep. I think it would be way less fun in the Seneca and down right unpleasant towing in the Seneca. We went through one tunnel that was 12' something, so that would be a no go.

There are a few entries that may allow the Seneca to enter the campgrounds without passing a tunnel. I am really happy we stayed in the KOA in Luray.

Next stop on Monday. Biltmore sounds nice. I hope it's worth the $65 entrance fee. Thanks.

We went to the Biltmore Estate yesterday. I figured I would make DW happy. But, WOW, I had no idea. The place was amazing. We did the "roof tour" and got to see the behind the scenes area like the attic and roof areas. Very cool.

Thanks for the tip.
