Alante 26 AY suspension

Not too impressed with the Jride that comes standard, pretty unstable. Any suggestions for making the driving more stable?
Thanks, Steve

  1. Trac bars
  2. Sway Bars
  3. Koni shocks
  4. Safe-T-Plus

*Not necessarily in that order depending upon which specific handling issues you are having.

Also check your weights. Front, rear side to side.

If yours comes w/ Hellwig helper springs, there is no guarantee they are adjusted correctly.

Check that the tire pressures are correct for your loaded MH. Tire pressures can affect handling.

Then see if you can move your post to the Class A forum...you may get more input.

Ride

Have a 26x and the F53 chassis is a hard riding unit .
I found that lowering the front tires to 85 to 90lbs and running with the water holding tank full made a very noticeable improvement , I also added the SafeTPlus steering control and blue ox trac bar in the back and then added concentric wheel balancers on the front wheels . I looked into new front shocks but everone has a favorite and I could not see changing with the information I found out . Try the cheaper method first and see what you think , I could not beleive what filling the water tank and lowering front tire presurre did to help the ride but it did.
