Always on the level?

Does the RV have to absolutely always level, as in 100% at 0 degrees in order to slide the slides out?

It seems to me there has to be some leeway in place for people like me who can't seem to get things 100% level.

No, they don't have to be exact. It can actually be pretty off kilter and the slide will work, so long as the frame isn't twisted or anything. You need to be reasonably close to level for the fridge to work and so you don't roll out of bed in the middle of the night.

Just adding in on the fridge part. I quickly noticed that the Norcold in the new Greyhawk wanted things more level that the old Dometic in the Coachman RV did.

Couldn't figure out why, when the new RV was parked in the same spot, that the new fridge wouldn't cool. When the old one worked fine.

Leveled it out and the Norcold got cold.

I was just wondering if there is some kind of tolerance that is automatically allowed as long as you are level side to side..

1, 5, 10 degrees?

My philosophy:

- As long as the bubble is between the lines, everything should function.

- Try for exactly level in order for the sinks to drain completely and get maximum effectiveness and longevity from the gas fridge.
