Anderson Levelers on motorhome

My Seneca TS is scheduled to come off the production line the end of March and be in the paint shop for all of April. I sold my toyhauler to a friend and today we started the emptying out process and deciding what we need to keep.

Last summer I bought a set of Anderson Levelers and DW really likes how they work since she no longer has to guess how many legos to put under the tires. I know the Seneca has auto leveling but will there ever be a need to raise the tires 1-4 inches before I level? Will the Andersons even work on the single axle dual tires?

As we were emptying the old camper I started realizing just how much money I spent on "must haves". And now it starts again. 😮

Andersen Levelers were basically designed to use on trailers, for side-to-side levelling when the front-to-back levelling is accomplished with the tongue jack. I don't know how they would work in conjunction with an automatic levelling system.

But there is this article:

Testing a New Way to Level our RV - Anderson Camper Levelers

I have no experience with an automatic levelling system, so the best I can suggest is to try out different methods and see which one works best for you.

Thanks for the reply. It's tough trying to figure out what I will need for the new RV. I know a lot about TTs but now I have to learn about motorhome needs.

lift for tires

Yes, you will want to carry something for the tires to rest on if seeing the front or rear of your coach airborne makes you queasy. The products sold as trailer levels and smaller C's don't work for the 9.5" wide 22.5" tires. The rear duals need 22" in one piece. Most are 7 inchish max. I tried some others and ended up cutting 1-1/8" plywood, but 1-1/2" lumber works too.

Yes, you'll probably need to keep some extra blocks for under the jacks...
The auto leveler in our 2015 Seneca 37TS has about a 3" range above grade... which wasn't enough for our first-ever camp spot in the new-to-us RV this weekend.

On the flip-side, we did feel very stable in the RV with BOTH front tires off the ground.
