Our three shelties ride in crates, secured on our rear seat with bungees. They don't fuss, just turn around once and go to sleep. I wish I could ride as comfortably.

Safety Harnesses and strap them to the couch seat belts. Use the word "CLIMB" to teach them to go to the couch.
