Attach pictures to a post
Hi all, can anyone tell me how to upload a photo to a post? When I use the "insert image" icon it asks me for a URL address. There isn't one for me to use. I tried using the directory string from my computer but that doesn't work. either. I would simply like to be able to upload an image from my computer, to assist in posts. Thanks, in advance, for any help with this. Cheers, Bill.

The way I do it is from the Quick Reply section at the bottom of the page, then hit Go Advanced, then look for the paper clip on the top row of the tool bar, when it opens you can attach a picture

If you click on the Post Reply button at that point you would follow along as Sundancer330 stated as you are already in Advanced.
And after clicking on the paper clip icon on the top row a new window on your computer should open called Manage Attachments. This is where you Choose Files from your computer and then click Upload.
P.S. 30 years as a computer instructor, and can't help myself.

2008Seneca and others. Thanks again for the help with this. 2008Seneca, no problem my friend, I know what it's like to be an instructor. There are times when old habits are hard to break. Cheers.

You can also upload all that you can get in the Choose slots. It's easier if you already know where the pictures are and have previewed them.
The forum software likes pictures that are higher than wide. Often if the pic displays sideways, you will have to alter the size. Simply rotating it won't do it.
