Auxiliary start solenoid replacement

Hi Folks,

I am looking for information on replacing the auxiliary start solenoid on a 2010 embark, I got the part number from jayco (0299405), they want $350 for the part as well as a 3 week wait.

Does anyone know of an aftermarket part or even the same part from a different supplier.

Thank You

Aux Start relay

Wow, that's expensive.

Caution: I do not know if this is compatible with your unit but .....

I recently talked to Jayco about mine.
They gave me WhiteRogers 120-105751-6 as the manufactures #.
Here is a compatible [sort of**] one on amazon https://amzn.to/3O4SccN

If you can get the manuf part #, not the Jayco # you can look up other sources. You can also look at the specs of the stock unit and compare for a replacement.

** the relay in mine has one side of the coil grounded. This replacement does not. So you need to check on any replacement if it is grounded. If not you can just add a ground.

How do you know the relay is bad?

Arrow

Hi, thanks for the reply I will contact Jayco to see if I can get a different number.

Took camper into garage and they said it was gone, Iím pretty sure I tried to jump it out to eliminate the solenoid but still no power, not sure how they figured it is gone

I'd call Freightliner. Jayco doesn't manufacture solenoids so they must be FL or like. Have your VIN ready.
