My 2019 Redhawk did not come with awning LED lights and I would like to install them.
Did anybody install LED's on their RV? If yes can share how and where did you connect them?
Thank you in advance
My awning had built-in lights but I hated to have to extend the awning each time. Added an additional strip on the side of the rig right under the awning and just tied it in to the porch light. Didn't have to route the wires inside. Since the porch light was not all that bright it is handy to fire up the long strip to actually light the area.

Thank you all.
Any ideas how to run the wiring from under the awning to inside (not exposing any wires) and use the existing switch for outdoor lights?
Perhaps someone with your floorplan can chime in with more specific detail but I snaked mine through the hole the power wires for the awning went out. I have a cabinet above the door through which I ran the wires in the false bottom and tapped into the wire for the porch light (coming from the switch) for power for the LED strip.
