Backup camera

I am quite sure my question has already been addressed & may have asked it myself but not smart enough to research my old threads. I just purchased a new Garmin RV 770LMT-S GPS. I hope that was a good move. But My backup is so vintage & hard to see so after researching the use of it I find that a model BC30 Garmin (wireless ) camera is available that will transmit to my new GPS.That will allow me to take the hulk monitor off of the roof of the driving compartment and use the GPS. I have not ordered the camera yet but have removed the monitor and the camera to inspect the wiring, it looks like there is adequate wiring going through roof to power the camera & more wires which I believe tie into the reverse selector to operate in reverse.
Has anyone done this or have any knowledge about how to wire. My MH is a 2006 26SS Greyhawk.
Any help would be appreciated.

We have replaced the monitor and camera systems in our motorhomes over the years. We were able to use the existing wiring at both ends with some minor modifications.
We have never used wireless but many owners will pull 12 volts from a nearby clearance light for power.
