Smile Backup Camera System & Front Seats

Hi everybody,

I'm in the process of helping my folks sell their '13 Melbourne 29D (~35,000m) with Ford E-450 chassis. In getting the vehicle prepped and ready to sell, two things have come to my attention.
  1. Factory backup-camera screen on the dashboard never activates. (Apparently, they've had this looked at before and a fuse was replaced, but it's happening again.) When in reverse, or when using the turn signals, it should display a camera feed, but all we're seeing is a black screen.
  2. Front seat upholstery in the cab: dark brown coating on the pleather is flaking off badly on driver and passenger seats.

If anyone has solutions/suggestions for the above, I'd love to hear about it! This is a great-running, beautiful MH in overall very good condition, and I want to make sure mom/dad get a great price. Thanks for the help!!!

Well, #1 seems to be solved, for the moment, after I replaced a fuse in the panel down beside the driver's feet—the Clarion dash system and cameras are working again.

The front seat covers, however, definitely need attention and/or replacement. If anybody has a recommendation for the crumbling finish on the upholstery, I'd love to hear about it!
